Embracing the future in this digital era calls for the exploration and implementation of emerging technologies in all industries. In particular, the media industry will continue to evolve its ability to offer immersive and impactful experiences that can create a space for deeper empathy and incite real, systemic change. Mixed reality is the key to revolutionizing the media industry. Immersive Extended Reality (XR) technologies, such as Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR), are mission-critical for personal and collective empowerment. XR can empower creative expression and is foundational for next-generation digital literacy. It is high-time for curricula and professional pathways to explore how XR can promote future-thinking and drive effective change. Moderator: Leily Khatibi,Trigger - The Mixed Reality Agency
